Christopher brings a vast amount of teaching experience to the academy. His individualized programs meet the specific learning needs of his students. Currently Christopher is a member of the adjunct faculty at Queen’s University, and the music teacher for Sharon Elementary. He also serves as the Interim Children’s Choir Director at Myers Park Baptist Church . In addition to his teaching and directing experience, Christopher also performs with Legacy Brass, the Clarion Brass Quintet, and is the residing president of Chamber Music of Charlotte.

Christopher is both a well-respected musician and music educator. As a result of his expertise and dedication, he was selected to be on the CMS textbook committee and elected as the Elementary Music Representative for the Performance Arts Alliance.

At the Academy, Christopher teaches all brass instruments, a group guitar class for 5-6 year olds students, and conducts the Children’s Choir.
