Academy Children's Choir

The Academy Children’s Choir, Vivace Youth Choir of Charlotte, is the perfect place for children who love to sing!  Our program will help each student bring out his or her best voice by emphasizing proper technique, including posture and breathing.  Students learn to sing freely and without tension in a way that is healthy and safe.  

A wide variety of musical styles are explored each week.  Students never knew they could have so much fun while learning skills such as note-reading and solfedge!  This class is the ideal introduction to singing before formal voice lessons.

Vivace Youth Choir of Charlotte performs at community events, festivals, and Academy concerts.

November 20th - South Park Tree Lighting - Sound check at 6 pm and performance begins at 7 pm and ends at 7:30 pm. 

February 20th - Charlotte Concert Band Performance Sound check at 5:30 performance at 7 pm at Queens University

CAMCC also serves as a great opportunity for students already studying piano, guitar, flute or other instruments.  Ear-training is an important part of learning to play a musical instrument and our Children’s Choir is a wonderful place to sharpen those skills.
