Percussion Teacher drums, drum lessons, drum set, percussion, teacher, lessons, students, adult, kids, children, marching band, charlotte, matthews, mint hill, harrisburg, stallings, monroe, indian trail Christopher Bryan Christopher has over 15 years of performance and teaching experience. He teaches drum set, orchestral, and marching percussion. Christopher has taught students of various ages and skill levels. He has instructed high school marching, indoor, and concert percussion ensembles. Under his direction, these groups have won many awards, including many first place finishes, top percussion honors, and most notably winning high percussion at the Atlantic Coast Championships. Originally from the Philadelphia region he has performed with numerous groups across a wide range of genres, everything from original folk rock band, organic free jazz, praise music, drum corps, cover bands and orchestral. Christopher has performed in prestigious venues such as The Kimmel Center, The Trocadero, World Café, and The Blumenthal Center. His love for performance has enabled him to record studio and live albums with many different groups. Christopher was a member of the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps, which concluded with a championship performance in Denver CO. Since arriving in the Charlotte area in 2007, Christopher has continued to teach and perform. He is currently teaching a local high school percussion ensemble. |
