Do you love the TV sensation GLEE as much as we do? Well here's your chance to try out Glee Club this summer! Campers will spend a week learning vocal and acting techniques as well as simple choreography. This camp concludes with a special performance at the end of the week! Enroll Today!

Musical Theatre Camp July 19-23
Ages 9-14

Tracy Davis Davenport (Masters, Musical Theatre)
Kids will have a blast creating their own play based on what would happen if all the Disney characters came together. Songs from Disney musicals and movies will be choreographed and implemented into the play. Students will also learn several songs and selections from a classic musical “How to Eat Like a Child….and Other Lessons in Being a Grown Up.” Students will enjoy creating props for their show and learning basic choreography, acting, and singing techniques. At the end of the week the students will perform their Fairy Tale Mash-Up and select scenes from “How to Eat Like a Child” for friends and family!

Songwriting Camp
August 9-13
Ages 12-18
Instructor: Neil Allen (Bachelor of Arts, Queens Univ)
Songwriting can be one of the most gratifying and exciting aspects of being a musician. Putting your creativity to work with others in a collaborative environment is what this camp is all about! Students will study song structure and lyrics, then work together in small groups writing their own lyrics, melodies, bass lines and drum patterns. In addition, campers will create their band's logo, concert poster and have t-shirts screen printed with their band logo. At the end of the week there will be a final performance on location and each student will receive a DVD of their song being performed live!
*Students need at least 1 school year (9 months) of experience with their instrument for this camp.
If you have a budding musician or artist in your family, this camp is sure to please! Each day campers will enjoy a beginners piano class...by the end of the week understanding keyboard geography and basic rhythm notation! After lunch it's time for art, as campers will use tempura, pencils and collage to create their own masterpieces! A piano performance and student art gallery will be presented at the end of camp.
