Testimonials:
“It is with the most profound respect that I write this on
behalf of Angela Stanciauskas, who has been my 10 year-old
daughter’s violin teacher for the past three and a half years.
After a couple of years in the Suzuki program, my daughter was
familiar with the rudimentary aspects of playing the instrument.
She was self-motivated, but lacked the technique and the
musicality which she would need to create a strong foundation in
music education. When we transitioned from the Suzuki method to
traditional training, Angela saw what she needed to work on
right away. Within a few months, my daughter began to play more
skillful, with passion, and her fingers began to feel the music
in a way that she never understood before. Ms. Stanciauskas is a
very personable, friendly, and warm woman who embraces the
parents of her students and values them as allies in their
children’s learning experience. Angela’s teaching style works
for the student because she expects them to work towards a goal
which is to practice and to present themselves well. She is
every parent’s dream of what a music teacher should be.
Two years ago my daughter
auditioned for the Inters-schools Orchestras of New York City
(ISO). She was chosen as a first violinist in her section and
performed with the ISO at New York’s Lincoln Center last May as
assistant concert master for her group. The training she
received with Angela prepared her solidly for a place in one of
the most prestigious student orchestras in the city.”
