I like Chris as my drum teacher because he lets me try the measure again and again if I don't get it right the first time. He let's you think about the tempo and he's ok with you taking time to think about the answers to his questions. He likes to joke around but he's also serious about teaching drums. He keeps it relaxed and fun. He encourages me to do my best and to keep trying.
