CAM Sessions

CAM Rocks! gives students the opportunity to rock out as they are immersed in popular rock music of the past fifty years, in a professionally coached, motivating environment. All instruments are welcome, and each band will typically consist of guitarists (electric, acoustic, bassist), keyboardist, vocalist, and drummer.  Ensemble skills, song selection, chart reading, improvisation, rehearsal techniques, and performance skills will all be explored.  Each session meets for 5  weeks, culminating in a live performances in uptown Charlotte at The Evening Muse and at Charlotte Academy of Music.

5 weeks: Oct 28 – Dec 2 (no class 11/25)
Rehearsals: Fridays, 4:30pm – 6:00pm

Sing your heart out as you learn to captivate an audience with both solo and choral holiday music! This class will combine the talents of all students enrolled, culminating in performances at the Matthews Tree Lighting on December 3 and the Charlotte Academy of Music Winter Concert.

6 weeks: Oct 22 – Dec 3  (no rehearsal 11/26)
