At the Open House, we will be giving complimentary demos of our Music Explorers and Music Adventures classes. In Music Explorers 1, for children ages 18 months to 3 years, we encourage music making and imaginative play, in this class for parent and child together. Making music together is the key to your child’s musical growth! Your child will love the creative movement activities, singing, storytime. Children ages 3-5 years are excited to move onto Music Explorers 2, where we focus on building music literacy and take the next step, piano exploration.
Using the piano as our vehicle, Music Adventures takes your child’s music journey forward, paving the way for a smooth transition to private lessons when they are older. Children ages 5 to 8 years learn how to practice, play the piano, and will explore various musical instruments. With no more than 6 students per class, each child experiences a positive, accepting environment where they feel free to be expressive and develop their creativity. Making music with friends provides built-in motivation, too! As we complete each book in our curriculum we even have awesome celebration concerts where our Adventures students celebrate their success. Its all about building confidence and enjoying the journey in our Explorers and Adventures classes!
At CAM you will find an incomparable faculty of piano, guitar, voice, string, woodwind and percussion teachers. CAM is also the home of the specialized Piano Artistry Program as well as Charlotte Suzuki Strings. Come learn about all of our lessons and classes on September 9th, 3:00 until 5:30 PM.
