Charlotte Academy of Music is pleased to welcome Violin and Viola Instructor, Alice Silva to our faculty!
Alice Silva holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance and is experienced in the Suzuki Method. Alice has studied under notable violinists such as Elisa Fukada, Pedro Delarolli, Grazielle Pagotto and David Russell. From 2008-2009 she performed with the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra in Louisiana and currently performs with the Union Symphony Orchestra (First Chair, Violin II). Alice has participated in the Music Festival in the Mountains (Brazil), BRAVO! Summer String Institute, and Wintergreen Performing Arts summer festivals. Her private teaching experience includes instruction at Nicholls State University Music Academy, Bailey Middle School (Cornelius) and the Cannon School (Concord).
