Power up creativity this summer at our Pokémon ART Camp! Campers will explore hands-on art projects inspired by beloved Pokémon characters like Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, and Eevee. Our Pokémon trainer campers will create lots of cool projects including drawings, canvas paintings, sculpting model magic and creating customized “pokeballs” to bring their “poke” creations to life!
Its a week full of confidence building creativity and friendship making fun. Don’t miss out on this epic summer adventure!
Meet the Camp Teacher
Jesse Armstrong is an art teacher with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. We love having Jesse back each summer to lead our visual art camps! She is very active in the CMS art department and its curriculum development, and was nominated for North Carolina Elementary Art Teacher of the Year in 2019. Jesse loves to learn and explore all kind of art mediums with her students including paint, clay, weaving, sculpture, printmaking, digital art, and photography. In an art class with Mrs. Armstrong there is never a dull moment! She loves getting messy, listening to music, and dancing along with art making.
