Lessons kids love!
From the day a toddler starts bopping to the beat, we are reminded that kids love music! At CAM, it’s our priority to help your child keep that same level of enthusiasm throughout their years in music lessons. Music should be fun. If your child enjoys their music journey, they will make exciting progress. They will be motivated, excel, and develop confidence!
Music comes to life in Music Adventures, our beginning piano classes, where we explore familiar tunes and advance through notation reading, rhythm skills, improvisation, and ear training. Using the piano as our vehicle, Music Adventures paves the way for a smooth transition to private lessons. At the first class your child will receive their CAM tote bag, Roadtrip piano book, and stuffed animal (their travel buddy!) In addition to learning to play the piano, we will focus on really learning how to practice. We’ll also have fun exploring different musical instruments. With only 6 students per class, Music Adventures provides a positive, accepting environment where students feel free to be expressive and develop their creativity. Making music with friends provides built-in motivation, too!
At the end of each semester, families receive an invitation to a Music Adventures Celebration Day, where we play music, enjoy refreshments and celebrate our students’ progress! This efficient, upbeat way of learning will give your child strong musical roots and set the tone for a lifelong love of music.

benefits of small class format
Children enjoy making new friends and learning alongside their peers in Music Adventures. In a small class format (we limit to 6 children), students develop excellent rhythm skills and self confidence. The class atmosphere naturally helps build excellent practice skills and provides motivation, too! Check out our article The Benefits of Small Group Music Lessons, written by Regina Ziliani, CAM Executive Director and a piano teacher of nearly 30 years.
