We are looking forward to this Summer Camp season now more than ever, and simply cannot wait to make music and art with you! We also realize that in light of the current Covid-19 situation, you may have questions about our camps. We hope the Q&A below provides some useful information on the engaging, safe, and inspiring camp programs we are offering this summer!
Will you run camps this summer?
This summer we will be running the following 2021 SPLASH! Camps: Kids Art Camp, Harry Potter Camp, Minecraft Master Engineering Camp, Catch em All Camp, Avengers Academy, Piano Palooza, and Music Adventures Camp.
What types of precautions are you taking to ensure a safe camp environment?
A safe environment is our #1 priority. As of this update, Jan. 22nd, we anticipate camps this summer will continue to be limited in size and will continue our Covid19 safety measures to ensure that we can provide as safe of an experience as possible! Those are:
- Contactless drop off and pick up.
- Limiting enrollment to allow for social distancing.
- Campers will sanitize their hands upon entering the building.
- Camps will take place before lesson hours to limit the number of people in the building during camps.
- Waiting room closed to limit the number of people in the building.
- Restrooms, door handles, light switch plates and other common surfaces will be disinfected throughout the day. Piano keys will be disinfected after each use.
What happens if there is a Covid-19 spike and you have to cancel the camp?
Please know that for any camp that is canceled, you will receive a 100% full refund.
Where are your camps located?
All SPLASH! Summer Camps are located at Charlotte Academy of Music, which is conveniently located right off of 485 at the Idlewild Road exit in the Matthews area.

Why is sending my kids to camp more important than ever this year?
The many challenges we have faced in recent months have most definitely impacted our children. They miss their friends and being in a classroom environment. Cultivating social connections, developing confidence, and challenging kids is what camps do best!
